Where are you located? Sweet Home Alabama. However, we do not have a physical store but you can find us at local farmer's markets and art events on most weekends. Follow us on social media to see where we are next.
What is the return policy? ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Please be mindful of the product’s size, color, and/or quality and that it is acceptable to you before purchasing. If there are any concerns or questions about our products, please email us.
What’s the shipping costs/packaging? We ship with USPS (United States Postal Service) and we use Priority Mail Flat Rate Shipping and 1st class shipping. Shipping can range from $5-15+ depending on the weight, etc. Also, we use USPS packaging which is recyclable and reusable packaging as well. Our goal is to invest in biodegradable/compostable packaging so we can become more circular in fashion & business.
Do you ship internationally? No, not yet. We only ship in The United States (including Puerto Rico). If you are from outside the U.S. and would love to purchase my work, let's connect. Email us at [email protected]
Is there a LOCAL PICKUP option? Yes, please use code AMARLOCAL at checkout and then click the + icon (removes shipping charges). Be sure to type/add + the code in BEFORE purchasing any items. Then, email MARA AMAR to figure out the best day/time to meet in PC or ColGA area ONLY.
Is there free shipping? Use code AMARFREE for free shipping on orders $85 or more.
Where do the materials come from? At MARA AMAR, we use secondhand fabrics, clothing, accessories, and even fabric scraps to create eco-friendly fashion. Also, we source most of our materials from local thrift stores such as Goodwill (one of our personal favs). It really helps the planet by using what is already here ♥
When will I receive my order? *If items are pre-made or thrifted* once payment is processed, we typically ship right away. However, MARA AMAR is a one-woman team. If things get backed up with multiple orders, you’ll be notified and updated on when your order will be shipped. Your order could be processed or arrive between 4-7 business days via USPS depending on USPS consistency. You will receive a tracking # via email.

Please keep in mind we are a slow fashion brand and not a fast fashion brand.
What does “1 of 1” fashion mean? This means it is “one-of-a-kind” – only one made ever and may not be made in large quantities by MARA.
Custom 1 of 1 fashion: Made by upcycling what we have while using draping, pattern making, and even no-sew techniques. Be on the lookout for custom order availability. When we’re available, let's talk about upcycling your jeans, old jewelry, and more.
MARA AMAR’s upcycled fashion is 1/1, limited supply, & made by a one-woman team. Please be patient ♥
Vintage fashion: We find one of a kind vintage clothing that's sourced from local thrift stores. Please keep in mind that most vintage pieces we find may have small wear, tear, or discoloration due to age in its clothing life cycle. There may be instances where we do not notice certain flaws. Please keep that in mind before purchasing our thrifted vintage pieces. We do encourage you to thrift, repurpose, and reLOVE with us even if there may be flaws. Let's give these clothes a second chance and prevent it from being in the landfills together.
What payment options do you use?
(1.) Stripe: accepts credit/debit card payments and Apple Pay for instant checkout. Sadly, only 1 product can be purchased with instant checkout and discount codes can’t be applied.
