ReLOVE with Purpose: Fashion & Art Class
Learn how to make a difference on the planet and in the community using fashion and art!
Class projects change/rotate WEEKLY but here’s what you’ll learn throughout the months:
• upcycling and transforming your clothes such as t-shirts, jeans, and more.
For ex: Class project: repurposing a plain t-shirt into a painted t-shirt with cool designs.
Future class: upcycling t-shirts/jeans into an amazing tote bag, AND more ♻️
• making earrings.
• hand-sewing techniques.
• how to create repurposed fashion using no-sew techniques.
• creating art work using paint and fabrics
• fashion sketches.
• thrifting with purpose.
• building your creative network + gaining a community to grow with!

🎨🖌️Paint, brushes, canvases, white t-shirts, denim fabric scraps, fabric, hand-sewing needles, thread, and most jewelry supplies like copper wire are provided for you to use and create in class ♥

The goal is to meet most Fridays starting at 6:00pm* at the PCAC ♥
Class fee: $60 + tax added at checkout per class you attend OR pay $60 in person BEFORE each class date.

This class is all about upcycling thrifted materials and tapping into your creativity through exploring different ways to make sustainable fashion and art all while helping the planet. You'll learn a wide range of techniques that I have gathered through years of training and research. It's important to note that my personal styles and designs (such as my denim earrings, wire earrings, button earrings, arm cuffs, clothing, tote bags, purses, or other MARA AMAR fashion designs/statement pieces) should not be replicated or duplicated in any way. Finding and creating your own sustainable techniques, styles, and designs is highly encouraged.
