Whether you've never touched a sewing machine or you're ready to build confidence, this beginner-friendly workshop is designed to help you create with purpose... one project at a time.

What's Provided:
☕ Light refreshments such as coffee and sweets while supplies last.
🧵 Sewing machines (limited supply) and basic classroom tools.
✂️ Fabric scraps, repurposed denim, thrifted textiles, thread, sewing needles, and project materials.
♻️ A creative, welcoming environment where you'll learn and create together.
What to Bring:
Your own sewing machine (if you have one)
Fabric scissors or favorite sewing tools
An old garment or fabric you'd like to repurpose
A notebook for sewing notes

Sewing involves the use of sewing machines, needles, pins, scissors, rotary cutters, irons, and other tools that may cause cuts, punctures, burns, or other minor injuries if not used properly. By participating in this workshop, you acknowledge these inherent risks and agree to follow all safety instructions provided by the instructors and volunteers.
MARA AMAR and its instructors are not responsible for injuries resulting from misuse of tools, failure to follow safety guidelines, or accidents that may occur during class. Participants are encouraged to work at their own pace and ask for assistance whenever needed.
