My name is Marangelys, founder of MARA AMAR (Make Art Repurpose All To Love), a creative design and educational brand rooted in sustainability, purpose, and hands-on learning.

I earned my Bachelor's degree in Human Environmental Sciences with a concentration in Apparel & Textile Design from The University of Alabama, where I discovered both my passion for design and the importance of creating a more sustainable future. My education opened my eyes to the impact of the fashion industry and inspired me to use creativity as a way to educate, empower, and create positive change.

Alongside my background in design, I have had the privilege of working with children in preschool, elementary, after-school, and community programs. These experiences have strengthened my passion for creating engaging learning environments where every child feels encouraged to explore, imagine, and create with confidence.

I believe children learn best by doing. Through project-based, hands-on experiences, they build creativity, problem-solving skills, confidence, collaboration, and a deeper understanding of the world around them. Whether we are transforming recycled materials into works of art, learning beginning sewing skills, exploring fashion design, or connecting creativity with literacy, math, science, and social-emotional learning, each project is designed to spark curiosity while giving new purpose to materials that might otherwise be thrown away.

My goal is to partner with schools, early learning centers, homeschool communities, libraries, museums, nonprofits, and community organizations to provide meaningful creative experiences that support classroom learning while encouraging sustainability, innovation, and joyful exploration.

I also have a portfolio of sample projects, lesson ideas, workshop options, and partnership opportunities that can be customized to meet the needs of your students and organization. I look forward to creating something meaningful together.

My hope is that every partnership plants a seed by encouraging children to create with purpose, see beauty in what others may overlook, and discover that even the simplest materials can be transformed into something meaningful. Through creativity, repurposing, and hands-on learning, we can nurture curious minds, confident creators, and compassionate hearts who care for one another, their communities, and our planet. I believe every child is created with purpose, and sometimes all it takes is one opportunity, one project, or one small seed to inspire a lifetime of creativity, confidence, and positive change.
