Rooted in Love Keepsake Workshop Policies & Safety

Please read before registering.

Rooted in Love is a caregiver-and-child creative experience designed to help families connect, create, and make meaningful keepsakes together.

1. CAREGIVER SUPERVISION

Each child must remain with and under the active supervision of their accompanying adult throughout the entire workshop. MARA AMAR does not provide childcare. Caregivers are responsible for their child's safety, participation, and behavior during the workshop.

2. MATERIALS & SAFETY

Workshops may include child-friendly art and sensory materials, such as washable paint, pressed flowers, natural materials, craft supplies, and small or textured items.

Materials are selected with young children in mind; however, caregivers are responsible for determining what is appropriate for their individual child and supervising their use of all materials.

Please inform the instructor, Mara, of any known allergies, sensitivities, or special considerations before the workshop. Children should participate at their own comfort and developmental level and should never be forced to participate in an activity.

3. ILLNESS

For everyone's health and comfort, please do not attend if your child or accompanying adult has a fever, vomiting, diarrhea, a contagious illness, or other symptoms that may put others at risk.

4. REGISTRATION, CANCELLATIONS & TRANSFERS

All workshop payments are non-refundable.

If you are unable to attend your scheduled Saturday workshop due to illness, unexpected circumstances, or bad weather, your payment may be transferred to a future Saturday Rooted in Love workshop that you are able to attend. Please contact Mara as soon as possible to arrange the transfer.

Your payment will remain a credit toward a future eligible workshop rather than being refunded.

5. PHOTOS & CREATIVE MEMORIES

Photos or videos may be taken during workshops to document creative activities and promote future MARA AMAR workshops. A parent or legal guardian's permission will be obtained before using identifiable images of their child for promotional purposes.

6. VENUE ETIQUETTE

Rooted in Love workshops take place at the Phenix City Art Center. All participants are expected to respect the facility, follow applicable Art Center rules, supervise their children, and leave the workshop area clean and ready for others to enjoy.

7. REGISTRATION ACKNOWLEDGMENT

By purchasing a Rooted in Love workshop registration, you acknowledge that you have read and understand these Workshop Policies & Safety guidelines and agree to follow them while participating.

Your registration and payment serve as acknowledgment of these policies.
